Diehling Direct®, Incorporated, was established on October 28, 2002, as a family-owned, Christian-based business. On a personal level, it provided additional income as the Diehl’s started a family and, from a professional standpoint, there appeared to be a need in the market to provide customers in the food processing industry a better alternative to spare parts in terms of quality, performance, dependability and cost effectiveness. No problem was too big or too small in order to assure that customers could operate more efficiently.
Between its only two employees, Rhonda Diehl provided a certain professional edge as she came from a 15 year legal assistant background and a short career in Human Resources. In contrast, Hoyt Diehl yielded the know-how of every technical aspect of the business based on his 17 years of experience and hands-on approach to every issue that ever arose from a tray packing machine.
The product line remained fairly modest in the company’s early stages. The prime claim-to-fame proved to be its one-of-a-kind coated blades. With a patent pending product in the works, the coated blades distinguished the Diehls from any other wholesale provider.
The process continues to improve as we strive to increase blade life. Our entire product line has increased dramatically over the years to include specialty items which assist customers with recurring cutting issues.
Diehling Direct® understands the concerns of the food processing divisions, knowing that time and product loss can cause a trickle-down motion that is often times impressed upon customers. However, if problems can be stamped out on the production floor, we believe that everyone will experience a more productive, more profitable margin.
Sales have grown every year since the inception of the business. We owe that success to the glory of God's grace and the commitment of our customers, just as we are committed to them. |
