COATED BLADES

Diehling Direct® has developed a process which appears in some product descriptions as “coated”. The special coating bonds itself to the knife blade and allows buildup to migrate away from the cutting surface which, in turn, allows the blade to cut longer before cleaning is required. Care should be taken while cleaning; Metal tools can be used against the coated blade, but should not be used in excess. A plastic scraper is an alternative way to remove buildup quickly and easily.
