COATED BLADES

Diehling Direct™ has developed a patent pending process which appears in some product descriptions as “coated”. The special coating on the knife blade allows buildup to migrate away from the cutting surface which, in turn, allows the blade to cut longer before cleaning is required. Care should be taken while cleaning; A wire wheel (or any metal tools) should not be used against the coated blade. A plastic scraper, however, will remove buildup quickly and easily.
